The 2014 Corolla's wheelbase and overall length are nearly 4 inches
longer, yet tight overhangs and a subtly lower, wider stance give the
new sedan a leaner and more elastic look. The new Corolla retains an
independent front and torsion-beam rear suspension, but the growth spurt
promises increased rear legroom.

Toyota also stamps the Corolla with its recent design obsession, an
exaggerated front end that looks like an angry carp (also see: new
4Runner SUV). But LED headlights -- adopted to minimize the mass of
headlight housings -- come standard, a nice, high-end touch for this
segment. The Corolla will come in four trim levels, including the
sportier S model that offers 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Depending on trim level, other features include premium vinyl
upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel,
navigation and the Entune smartphone integration system.
A new LE Eco model aims for 40 mpg by using 15-inch wheels,
low-rolling-resistance tires, a CVT and the 1.8-liter with a specialized
valvetrain that actually boosts output to 140 hp.

The compact economy class doesn't lack for choice and makes the 2014
Toyota Corolla's exterior design something of a gamble for Toyota. The
Honda Civic has rebounded from its own design missteps, while the Mazda 3
and Ford Focus remain well-stocked drivers' favorites.

Their default shape will be tall
with a short, sloping bonnet, a huge windscreen, square edges and maybe
an extra side window towards the tail: they’re called MPVs.

Now, MPVs are revered because of their many talents - besides lugging
the family, relatives and friends around, it can also be used as a cargo
van. But here’s another issue though: they say your life stops the
moment you buy yourself an MPV. You’re now relegated to a non-exciting
life.

Well it seems engineers are out to change that mindset by
making MPVs really purposeful. Slap on a turbocharger, sharpen the
handling department and tadaa… you not only arrive at places quicker,
you also get to do it with a little tinge of fun. Volkswagen’s Touran is
one fine example.

Which also explains why Tourans are selling by the truckloads locally.

Lately though, the MPV segment is slowing down rather drastically. Try
recalling a new MPV that was launched within the past six months or so –
notwithstanding Mazda’s 5, this segment is practically quiet.

Until the arrival of this latest Opel Zafira.

Exterior

For a start, the Opel Zafira looks rather different when compared to
the sea of MPVs available in our market today. As mentioned earlier, it
is tall (1,685mm) and rather square; but those headlamps truly adds a
stylish touch nobody else in this class has ever dared. Ok, so the black
“tear” dropping down into the foglamp’s housing might polarise
opinions, but match that to a pair of very detailed headlamps, classy
grille and huge windscreen and the Zafira scores highly in the exterior
aesthetics department.Inhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01142839741262373599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921138806956947820.post-51512009793342297762013-06-17T01:44:00.003-07:002013-06-17T01:44:23.539-07:00Galaxy Booster

The Ford Galaxy was first introduced in 1995, and was Ford's first
attempt at a full-size people carrier for the global market, or even any
sort of people carrier. Hard to believe that before then, a major
carmaker like Ford had no MPVs in its line-up outside of the US market.

The first Galaxy was a joint-effort with Volkswagen, and three versions
of it were sold, all bearing different badges. Volkswagen's version was
the Sharan, while Spanish manufacturer SEAT called it the Alhambra. All
three were sold in Singapore, but bizarrely, the SEAT version was
offered first, with the Galaxy not arriving here until 1998 and the
Sharan even later.

The Galaxy was widely acclaimed in the press when it was launched, with
its all-round driving capabilities resulting from a period of
renaissance for Ford in the 1990s that started with the Mondeo. As the
years passed, the Galaxy grew and evolved, and along the way, it
separated from its Volkswagen brothers and developed into its own car.

The Galaxy has seen its position as the driver's MPV usurped by its
younger brother, the S-Max, in recent years. So where does that leave
the Galaxy then, especially with its new 2.0-litre EcoBoost powerplant?

Well, we are in the business of making money, and in order to make money we have to learn how to manage it. Ironically, this is one of the most overlooked areas in trading. Many traders are just anxious to get right into trading with no regards to their total account size. They simply determine how much they can stomach to lose in a single trade and hit the “trade” button. There’s a term for this type of investing….it’s called GAMBLING!

When you trade without money management rules, you are in fact gambling. You are not looking at the long term return on your investment. Instead you are only looking for that “jackpot”. Money management rules will not only protect us, but they will make us very profitable in the long run. If you don’t believe me, and you think that “gambling” is the way to get rich, then consider this example:

People go to Las Vegas all the time to gamble their money in hopes to win a big jackpot, and in fact, many people do win. So how in the world, are casino’s still making money if many individuals are winning jackpots? The answer is that while even though people win jackpots, in the long run, casino’s are still profitable because they rake in more money from the people that don’t win. That is where the term “the house always wins” comes from.

The truth is that casinos are just very rich statisticians. They know that in the long run, they will be the ones making the money—not the gamblers. Even if Joe Schmoe wins $100,000 jackpot in a slot machine, the casinos know that there will be 100 more gamblers who WON’T win that jackpot and the money will go right back in their pockets.
Inhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01142839741262373599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921138806956947820.post-54542500789170331062010-01-06T12:24:00.000-08:002010-01-06T12:25:11.575-08:00Forex market is the largest trading market on earth.Volume of daily trade is $3 trillion hence giving more opportunity to earn high returns. This markeDisclaimer:Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. More than likely, both will wind up losing money. However, if you take two pros and have them trade in the opposite direction of each other, quite frequently both traders will wind up making money - despite the seeming contradiction of the premise. What's the difference? What is the most important factor separating the seasoned traders from the amateurs? The answer is money management.

Like dieting and working out, money management is something that most traders pay lip service to, but few practice in real life. The reason is simple: just like eating healthy and staying fit, money management can seem like a burdensome, unpleasant activity. It forces traders to constantly monitor their positions and to take necessary losses, and few people like to do that. However, as Figure 1 proves, loss-taking is crucial to long-term trading success
Inhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01142839741262373599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921138806956947820.post-18680128185873082332010-01-06T12:21:00.001-08:002010-01-06T12:21:58.059-08:00Make Money Trading Forex
There are new regulations regarding advertising in the US (I'm in Canada) where the site owner is required to state if they receive revenue to promote products on their websites. My approach has always been to only endorse products that I feel will help you to profit from trading Forex.

Some of these products pay me and some do not. The bottom line is if you see something promoted here, it is because I believe it will help you, not me.

My current focus is on automated trading systems and trading robots. Many "would be" new traders are overwhelmed by all the information available and don't know how to get started. These automated systems can successfully trade your account, even if you have a very limited knowledge of the Forex market.

I buy almost every trading robot that comes along and put them through a lot of testing. Most of them don't do very well and I send them back for a refund. However, sometimes they do what they are supposed to and I put them on an account trading with LOW leverage.

For some reason they all seem to have the same trashy sales pages, but if you can get past that and are looking for EA's that can turn a profit, check out these links...

All systems, robotic or not, will have losses and leverage should always be kept small.

Robots are a great way to make money trading Forex for those that struggle with technical analysis, or traders that can't sit in front of their computers all day and night. You still need to be aware of the market particulars, but automated systems make it much easier for new traders to get started profitably.

If you have an idea for a robot strategy and you need some help to code it, send me a note from the "About the Author" page and I can probably help you. I have coded many EA's and will do what I can to get you going.

Trading Forex is exciting and it can also be very rewarding. You are able to trade any time of the day Monday through Friday and it can be done effectively without being glued to your computer screen.

Over $3 Trillion Daily!

The reality is you need to do a little homework to be successful at this. You can learn how to claim some cash from the $3.2 trillion (according to the latest BIS report) that trade through the Forex market every trading day, but to make money trading Forex, you need to treat it like a business and invest some of your time to achieve profitable results.
In the end, the results you get will be the product of the time and effort you put in. Do this the right way and it can change your life. If you are looking to get rich quick, Forex can do it, but it can break you just as quickly, so beware.Inhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01142839741262373599noreply@blogger.com0
